Brett Baker - Saxophones Brett Baker joined
Class Reunion in the summer of 2001 and plays alto and tenor saxophones.
Brett began his formal music training in elementary school on clarinet
adding saxophone, flute, guitar and bass along the way. As a high
school student Brett began playing in rock bands in addition to school
bands and decided to make music his profession. Brett has received
a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Mount Union College and
a Masters Degree in Music from The University of Akron. Along the
way Brett has performed blues music with Chet the Jet and the Ground
Crew, doo-wop with the Chordetts and the Crewcuts, heavy metal with
Sweet Revenge and founded and co-directed his own jazz big band Time
Check. Brett teaches all of the bands at Cleveland Heights High School
and lives in Cleveland Heights with his wife Tanis.
